Alexis Dumont

Alexis Dumont joined the Nexus team in July 2021 as a Bar intern, supervised by his training mentor, Me Fanny Cumplido. Having initially pursued studies in administration in France and then in Quebec, he ultimately decided to enroll in law with the goal of helping people wishing to settle in Canada.

Since January 2022, he has been working as a lawyer at Nexus, dedicating himself to all types of immigration applications (economic, family reunification, asylum claims, etc.).

During his academic journey, he had the opportunity to volunteer with the Clinique Juridique Itinérante, a non-profit organization serving the homeless population. He also got involved during his final university semester in a case with Projet Innocence Québec.

In addition to his bachelor's degree in law, Me Alexis Dumont holds a certificate in immigration and interethnic relations from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
