The firm offers personalized advisory services and representation before specialized immigration tribunals such as the Immigration and Refugee Board, and before courts of general jurisdiction, including the Federal Court (Immigration) and the Superior Court (Family Division). To support the firm's growth and complement our current team, we are looking for a lawyer to take charge of files in immigration law and family law.

Main Responsibilities:

Drafting legal proceedings and representation before specialized tribunals (IRB) and courts of general jurisdiction (Superior Court) in immigration and family law matters

Preparing applications for asylum, temporary residence (work permits, study permits, visitor visas), permanent residence, and citizenship

Meeting with clients, identifying strategies for each file and implementing them, advising clients on the appropriate course of action based on the specifics of each case

Collaborating with the team to develop the firm's internal knowledge base

Requirements:

Lawyer admitted to the Quebec Bar

6 months of experience or less

Bilingualism (French/English)

Spanish — an asset

Autonomous, versatile, detail-oriented, and personable

Able to manage multiple files simultaneously

Collaborative team player

Demonstrates sound judgment, confidentiality, and discretion

Strong sense of priority management
